IMPORTANT TIMELY INFORMATION

IMPORTANT :

All our members have received email information regarding the upcoming SAW AWARDS Exhibition in the last few weeks. We have received 23 entries for the SAW awards exhibition to date. The Awards Exhibition for our members is to be held on Tuesday September 29. 

talktosaw@gmail.com would love to get any feedback about the upcoming SAW exhibition to make any changes that will help you to be part of the exhibition. We have fewer entries then last year and are wondering why this is? We would like to help you with any obstacles you might be having so you too can be a part of this current SAW exhibition.

We are a large art group and would like as many members as possible to participate. We provide this opportunity for all our members to enjoy this exhibition and to share and display what you and others have been working on as part of this art group. 

 

WORKSHOP:

The next workshop after that will be Oct 7 with Linda Evelyn " Texture mediums for Acrylic Painting".

Regarding the workshop with LINDA, if you are interested in attending this workshop, please REGISTER  FOR IT BEFORE AUG 31, 2026 in order to ensure we have adequate supplies. We will be purchasing several mediums and providing samples of each for you to try. There will be a small additional fee for this: the amount will depend on the number of participants, but will definitely be less than $10.00 

 

PROTOCOL For All Workshops:

Please sign up soon for any workshop you plan to attend. This way the instructor will know how much material to have available for everyone during the workshop. As well as how many tables and chairs will be needed to set up.

SAW workshops are held on a WEDNESDAY at 1:00 pm at Grace United Church. (Note: if an exception to this should arise, the members will be notified). Emails are sent out to members before each workshop date to provide you with any necessary information. Workshops are usually held every two weeks, fall, winter and spring.
